It is worth noting that the company is a leader in the manufacture and commercialisation of underground and semi-underground containers for the selective collection of waste.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Carbon Neutrality Project was structured based on an integrated approach, which included:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2022\tStrengthening the energy efficiency of production processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2022\tIntegration of renewable energy sources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2022\tTechnological and operational optimisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2022\tContinuous and rigorous monitoring of the carbon footprint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The reduction achieved results from a strategic investment plan focused on industrial modernisation and on the consistent reduction of emissions associated with production activities.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\u201cThis result demonstrates that sustainability is not merely a formal commitment, but a strategic priority for Lasso. Reducing emissions by almost 76% in a single year confirms that it is possible to align industrial performance, competitiveness and environmental responsibility,\u201d<\/strong> says Pedro Martins da Costa, CEO of Lasso.<\/p>\n\n<p>With this progress, Lasso reinforces its position as an organisation committed to the energy transition and to building a more efficient, resilient and sustainable industrial model.
