Lasso Semi BT semi-underground containers head to the French Basque Country

This June, Lasso Semi BT semi-underground containers began to be shipped to the Communauté d’Agglomération Pays Basque, in France. There are 200 large capacity semi-underground containers (5m³), with modular lids, which, in a first phase, will begin to be installed in the areas of Garrazi Baigorri, Garrazi Hasparren, Sud Pays Basque and Nive Adour.

The containers for collecting mixed waste are Lasso Semi BT with “Inerte Lioz” or “Wood Imitation” finish, with Kinshofer extraction system and PEHD modular lid with double drum, prepared for installation of an intelligent access control system.

For packaging and glass, there are also Semi BT containers, some with a “Inerte Lioz” finish, others with “Wood Imitation”, with a Kinshofer extraction system and PEHD modular lid with the particularity of having a vertical “Façade” opening.

“In collaboration with Contenur, our local distributor, we are supplying the containers for the waste management project in this community in the French Basque Country, which selected Lasso Semi BT containers to integrate the process of reorganizing its waste management with in order to comply with the separation and recycling targets required by the European Union. These large capacity containers are ideal for the needs of the region and adapt to the customer’s geographic requirements, whether in the most mountainous areas or on the coast”, says Sofia Sampaio, Lasso’s commercial director for the international market.
