The future of waste management has already arrived — and it’s at IFAT 2026 with Lasso

Lasso is once again taking part in IFAT 2026, the largest international event dedicated to environmental services and technologies. This recurring participation in the brand’s journey reinforces Lasso’s ongoing commitment to innovation and to developing solutions that address the current challenges of urban waste management.

During the event, Lasso will present its latest waste management solutions, with a highlight on underground containers, manufactured using highly durable and resistant materials, and featuring elements that enhance safety and functionality. These modern-design systems are created to ensure efficiency, robustness, and urban integration. They are also equipped to incorporate smart waste management systems, enabling access control, the PAYT (Pay-As-You-Throw) model, and monitoring—thus contributing to the optimization of collection processes.

At a time when cities are facing increasing environmental challenges, the implementation of more efficient and technologically advanced collection systems plays a central role. Lasso’s solutions contribute to building more sustainable cities that prioritize the quality of life of their citizens and view waste management as a strategic priority in public policy.

As Sofia Sampaio, Lasso’s Commercial Director, states: “At IFAT 2026 we will have a dedicated space with our equipment on display, where we will be delighted to welcome municipalities and companies. It is another excellent opportunity to showcase the new generation of equipment for selective urban waste collection and to share our vision for the future of cities.”

Lasso positions itself as a leading multinational brand, with production in Portugal and, more recently, a manufacturing unit in Romania, strengthening its presence in Central and Eastern European markets.
