Lasso Semi PE installed in Occitania

In a joint project with Contenur, Lasso’s partner for the French market, 449 Lasso SEMI PE semi-underground containers have just been installed in the community of Mirande, in the Gers department, in the Occitania region, France.

These are 5m³ semi-underground containers, made of polyethylene with a recycled plastic finishing, with a metal tank and a Kinshofer extraction system. The containers are intended for the selective collection of unsorted waste, packaging and glass. The former are equipped with a double drum lid; those for packaging have a mat; and those dedicated to collecting glass have a vertical opening (Façade), for greater functionality and user comfort.

The containers are about to go into operation in Mirande and several other municipalities in the Gers department, a region located halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux, between the sea and the ocean, close to the Pyrenees, a very popular destination in France and abroad thanks to its sunshine and concern for the preservation of its natural and cultural environment. “Lasso is proud to have its products represented in another leading region in France, a market with a high level of demand for its waste management”, highlights Sofia Sampaio, Lasso’s sales director for the international market.
